Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule Options:
- Full-time: 7 hours per day, 5 days per week, focused on office support and medication administration
- Part-time: 2 days per week (Monday and Wednesday) for diabetic student monitoring and general office support (not 1:1 care)
- Part-time: 1 day per week (Monday) for office support and medication administration
Key Qualifications:
- Current LPN/LVN license in California
- Experience working as a school nurse or in a pediatric setting preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage medication administration, maintain accurate records, and provide first aid as needed
- Comfortable supporting students with chronic health conditions, including diabetes
- Empathetic approach with strong problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer daily, scheduled, and emergency medications as prescribed
- Monitor, manage, and support students with chronic health needs
- Provide office-based support, including basic care for minor injuries or illnesses
- Maintain documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and healthcare providers
- Support overall health education initiatives within the school as needed
