Role Description The Interventional Psychiatry Technician is a part-time, on-site role based in Walnut Creek, CA. This role involves supporting interventional psychiatric treatments, including setting up and operating medical technology for TMS and Spravato sessions, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring equipment is maintained and calibrated. The technician will assist with patient intake, monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, document clinical information accurately, and communicate observations to licensed clinicians. The role will include administrative responsibilities such obtaining insurance authorization/approvals. Daily responsibilities also include following safety control protocols, coordinating with administrative staff to schedule appointments, and contributing to a calm, supportive environment for patients receiving advanced psychiatric care.

Qualifications

· Candidates should have prior experience administering TMS treatments and experience in psychiatry, neurology, or behavioral health settings.

· Candidates should possess skills in Medical Technology to operate and maintain treatment devices and related equipment.
\n
· Candidates should possess empathetic patient care to support safe, compassionate interventional psychiatric procedures under clinical supervision.

· Strong attention to detail, adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and reliable documentation practices.
\n
· Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support individuals experiencing mental health conditions in a respectful, non-judgmental manner.
\n
· Prior experience in a medical, psychiatric, or behavioral health setting is preferred; familiarity/experience with Spravato is a plus.
