Job Title – Manufacturing Technician II

Location – Oceanside, CA (Onsite)

Duration – 12 months contract

Pay Rate – $31.77 USD hourly on W2

Onsite Position- 5 days/week

Job Description:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to support viral vector manufacturing operations in a cGMP environment. The role will execute manufacturing processes, maintain accurate documentation, perform cell culture and filling activities, and collaborate with Quality, MSAT, Facilities, and Engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute manufacturing processes according to batch records, SOPs, and cGMP requirements.
Perform raw material weighing, inventory transactions, and manufacturing activities using MES/EBS systems.
Support cell culture, bioreactor operations, transfection, viral vector harvest, and filling activities.
Prepare and use single-use systems and perform filter integrity testing.
Maintain accurate GMP documentation and assist with controlled document updates.
Identify and escalate process or equipment issues.
Follow aseptic techniques, safety procedures, and Good Documentation Practices.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Work off-shift hours and weekends as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related scientific discipline, or
Associate degree with 2+ years of relevant manufacturing/quality/engineering experience, or
High School Diploma with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
Biopharmaceutical, cell/gene therapy, or cGMP manufacturing experience is preferred.
Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
