Job DescriptionWe are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Redwood City, CA. Details of the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Pay is $31/hr to start!!
- 6 – month assignment (possible extension / conversion ) based on performance and budget.
- Monday – Friday (5:30am – 2pm)
- Supports production line by conducting routine tasks which may include setting up, taking down, cleaning and undertaking the routine maintenance of operating equipment, as instructed, to ensure continued production.
- Maintains a safe work environment and performs work in accordance with site Environment, Health and Safety (SHE) policies and procedures.
- Performs preventative maintenance on small equipment (heat sealer, mixers, conductivity meters, etc.)
- Assists in setting up and running line equipment in accordance with the agreed settings/parameters
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma/ GED is required.
- Experience working in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of GMP documentation practices, SOPs, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Ability to support production operations by setting up, operating, cleaning, and dismantling manufacturing equipment.
- Experience performing routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment.
