Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist near Richmond, CA. This onsite position is available immediately and runs through June 10, 2027, providing the chance to make a meaningful contribution across two vibrant school settings. Key Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially at the elementary and middle school levels
- Comfortable managing a diverse caseload across multiple locations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- SLPA credentials are not accepted for this position
- Availability for full-time, onsite work throughout the contract duration
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a school setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with student needs and IEP requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough records, documentation, and progress reports in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Travel between two designated school locations as needed
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that supports student growth and achievement
