About the Role
The Reusable Packaging Ambassador supports an initiative to reduce packaging waste in food delivery through a local pilot program. Responsibilities include recruiting merchant participants, supporting onboarding, assisting with marketing operations, monitoring return locations, engaging the community, and raising awareness about reusable packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit restaurant partners to participate in the reusable packaging pilot program
- Present and enroll restaurants in the pilot, providing onboarding, product demonstrations, and training on order portals
- Support restaurants in promoting reusable packaging through app listings and on-site marketing materials
- Raise awareness in the community by distributing educational materials and participating in events (farmers markets, beach cleanups, etc.)
- Monitor and support operational aspects of the pilot, including return points and feedback collection
Qualifications
- Located within driving distance of Half Moon Bay
- 2–5 years of experience in sales, customer service, or marketing
- Experience with pilot programs and/or community engagement campaigns
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, comfort interacting with business owners and consumers
- Valid driver’s license required
- Preferred: Experience working in or with restaurants
