Job DescriptionBarista / Cashier — Morning & Evening ShiftsLocation: Newport Beach, CAPosition Type: Part-Time or Full-TimeCompensation: Based on experienceAbout the RoleWe’re looking for a reliable, friendly, and service-driven Barista/Cashier to join our team. Thisrole is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced café environment, takes pride in great customerservice, and can confidently handle both barista tasks and register operations.Responsibilities• Prepare espresso drinks, teas, and café beverages following house standards• Greet guests, take orders, and provide warm, attentive customer service• Operate POS system accurately, handle cash and card transactions• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including bar, pastry case, and dining area• Restock supplies and assist with opening/closing duties• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures• Support team members to keep service smooth during peak hoursRequired Qualifications• Morning and evening availability (must be able to work both AM and PM shifts as needed)• Valid California Food Handler Card• Completed Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (CA-compliant)• Basic barista experience (espresso dialing, milk steaming, drink building)• Customer service experience in a café, restaurant, or similar environment• Cash handling experience with accuracy and accountability• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbsPreferred (Not Required)• Experience in a high-volume café & familiarity with specialty coffee standards• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
