Birdi Systems, Inc. (BSI) is seeking a motivated and adaptable Systems & Operations Analyst to support the delivery and optimization of technology-driven infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build experience at the intersection of systems engineering, operations, and project delivery.
In this role, you will work closely with engineering, operations, and project teams to support system implementation, analyze operational workflows, and help ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to real-world systems, contribute to process improvements, and play a key role in supporting field and project operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support systems implementation and operations across design/build, retrofit, and upgrade projects
· Assist with requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, and documentation of operational needs
· Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate system performance and operational workflows
· Help analyze and improve business processes, system utilization, and operational efficiency
· Assist in the configuration and deployment of low-voltage, communications, and security systems
· Support testing and commissioning activities (e.g., FAT, SAT, UAT)
· Troubleshoot system and operational issues, escalating as needed
· Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal teams and clients
· Collaborate across engineering, construction, and project management teams
· Contribute to the development and standardization of client operations and system procedures
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field (Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or similar) or equivalent practical experience
· 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships, academic projects, or entry-level roles welcome)
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn new technologies
· Effective written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· Ability to interpret technical documentation (or willingness to learn)
· Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for site visits
Preferred Qualifications:
· Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related)
· Exposure to infrastructure, construction, or design/build environments
· Familiarity with low-voltage systems, telecommunications, or security systems
· Experience with tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar
· Understanding of project lifecycle processes, risk assessment, or workflow optimization
· Exposure to system testing and commissioning processes (FAT, SAT, UAT)
· Interest in aviation, transportation, or federal infrastructure projects
· Entry-level certifications (EIT, CAPM, or similar)
