Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active OT license in the state of California
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Proven dedication to fostering positive outcomes for school-aged children
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, both in individual and group formats
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to integrate therapy strategies into classroom activities
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with educational and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations to best support student success
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training initiatives
