Make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors! We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide personal care and daily living support in home and center-based settings.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Help with meal preparation, feeding, light housekeeping, and laundry.
- Provide escort assistance and encourage participation in conversations and activities.
- Observe and promptly report changes in patient condition.
- Follow individualized care plans, infection-control procedures, and safe patient-handling practices.
- Document care accurately and collaborate with patients, families, and the care team.
What You Must Have
- Active CNA certification required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- At least one year of experience caring for elderly or frail individuals.
- Basic conversational English and the ability to complete written care documentation.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Flexibility to work in home and center-based settings.
- Ability to perform physical care duties, including occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds with appropriate equipment or assistance.
- Must be at least 18 years old when working in a licensed adult day program.
Bilingual skills, experience training peers, and experience in both home and center-based care are a plus.
