Join an early-stage AI company developing multimodal agents that review building plans for code compliance and safety. You will focus on improving agent accuracy and help shape tools that support housing and construction projects.
What You'll Do
- Improve the accuracy of multimodal agents through model post-training, experimentation, and evaluation.
- Build and extend AI agents for reviewing plans across commercial and multifamily housing.
- Contribute to data engineering, internal tools, coding-agent workflows, and the web application as needed.
- Speak with users regularly and use their feedback to guide product development.
What We're Looking For
- Three to eight years of software engineering experience, including hands-on AI engineering and experimentation.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, with strong technical fundamentals.
- Experience with Python, multimodal large language models, computer vision, AI agents, and evaluation frameworks.
- Daily experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
- Background in a high-caliber engineering team and interest in taking ownership in an early-stage startup environment.
- Genuine interest in housing, urbanism, or expanding housing supply.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $165,000 to $210,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
