Kjar, McKenna & Stockalper, LLP (KMS) is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our El Segundo office. This role is ideal for a highly organized litigation professional who enjoys managing cases from inception through trial, partnering closely with attorneys, and playing a critical role in achieving successful client outcomes.

What You'll Do
As a Litigation Paralegal, you will support a team of attorneys and play an integral role throughout all phases of litigation. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and processing records subpoenas and coordinating follow-up with photocopy services
- Preparing HIPAA authorizations, obtaining signatures, and managing medical record requests
- Drafting, e-filing, and serving pleadings, motions, and pre-trial documents
- Organizing, indexing, and managing litigation documents, records, and exhibits
- Preparing paper and electronic trial binders
- Assisting with pre-trial and trial preparation
- Supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation from case inception through resolution
- Maintaining case calendars, litigation deadlines, and file organization
- Coordinating with clients, experts, vendors, courts, and opposing counsel as needed
- Reviewing, summarizing, and organizing case-related records and discovery materials
Experience Required
- Litigation Paralegal Experience: 3+ years
- Trial Preparation Experience: 3+ years
Required Certification
- Paralegal Certificate
Preferred Qualifications
- Insurance defense litigation experience
- Experience supporting attorneys through trial
- Experience handling large volumes of medical records, discovery, and case documents
- Familiarity with California state and federal court procedures

- Location: El Segundo, CA
- Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5-hour work week
