Client: Los Angeles Health System (Direct Hire only, No C2C No 1099 please)

Position: Business System Analyst - UKG Kronos

\n

Start: Sept/October

\n

Length: Contract or Contract to hire

\n

Location: Los Angeles, CA

\n

Candidate Location: Local

\n

Salary Conversion Range: $140,000 mid-range & bonus eligible

\n

Remote/Onsite: Candidate must be in southern CA (onsite 3 days/week) – prefer onsite 5 days/week initially to get acclimated with the team prior to implementation

Manager Call Notes:

  • The team has an upcoming project focused on time and scheduling.
  • \n

  • They are replacing ADP and currently do not have a system in place.
  • \n

  • Project is expected to start in July and run for approximately 9–12 months.
  • \n

  • Health System has limited business analyst support, so IT is currently filling that gap.
  • \n

  • They are looking to bring on a strong Business Analyst with expertise in time and scheduling.
  • \n

  • Client purchased UKG Pro Workforce Management (UKG Pro Accrual, UKG Pro Timekeeping hourly, UKG Pro People Analytics with Pro WFM Data), and UKG Pro Absence
  • \n

  • Timekeeping is the most critical piece. Also implementing Timekeeping and Absence. Scheduling will be next year, so it is strongly preferred experience/skills but not mandatory.
  • \n

\n

Key Requirements:

\n

    \n
  • Must be local.
  • \n

  • Will work closely with the HRIS team.
  • \n

  • The new system being implemented is UKG (formerly Kronos).
  • \n

  • Role: Business Systems Analyst.
  • \n

  • Strong experience with UKG timekeeping is the top priority.
  • \n

  • Scheduling experience is preferred but not required.
  • \n

  • Must have functional knowledge of timekeeping from a business perspective.
  • \n

  • Hands-on experience with UKG/Kronos is highly preferred.
  • \n

  • Strong documentation skills (current state, configuration, and future state).
  • \n

  • Experience with process re-engineering and transitioning processes into UKG.
  • \n

  • Ambulatory clinic experience is a strong plus.
  • \n

  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of leadership.
  • \n

\n

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

\n

    \n
  • Serve as part of the implementation team.
  • \n

  • Provide subject matter expertise in timekeeping, which is currently lacking internally (across HR and Payroll).
  • \n

  • Support and guide the payroll team as part of the broader HRIS function.
  • \n

  • Mentor team members on system usage.
  • \n

  • Facilitate collaboration, drive decision-making, and help lead the implementation process.
  • \n
