Key Responsibilities\n
Your day-to-day tasks will involve a variety of clinically significant responsibilities, including:

- Collaborating with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to develop and optimize mental health treatment plans.
- Providing mental health in-service training for medical, psychiatric, and security staff as needed, enhancing interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Intervening in crises and defusing mental health emergencies within the clinic during your shifts, demonstrating quick, effective responses.
- Attending commitment hearings and completing all necessary documentation related to patient care and emergency interventions.
- Creating individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of patient needs.
- Ensuring meticulous documentation of all patient interactions to maintain compliance and uphold confidentiality of medical records.
- Verifying past patient mental health histories, including psychotropic medication usage, to inform current treatment strategies.
- Preparing regular and special reports as required to track progress and outcomes effectively.
- Coordinating with nursing staff to manage post-release referrals, ensuring seamless transitions for patients.
