Responsibilities:

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport cargo between the Port of Long Beach and the San Diego area.
• Access secure port and restricted facilities using a valid TWIC Card as required
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of freight while maintaining proper documentation
• Maintain communication with dispatch and management regarding route status and any delays
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic and transportation laws

Requirements:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Active Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Card) required
• Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
• Experience operating Class A vehicles in a commercial distribution environment - Minimum 2 years.
• Ability to meet DOT / FMCSA compliance standards
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines
• Ability to lift and handle freight, including perishable products
