The American Comedy Co. located in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter in beautiful downtown San Diego is now hiring Managers!

Manager Pay: $45/hr + $250 monthly bonus + $1,000 December bonus.
Hours: Tuesday (5pm-11pm), Wednesday (9am-2pm), Thursday (5pm-11pm), Friday/Saturday (4:30pm-12:30am)
Plus sometimes we have Wednesday shows (5pm-11) & Sunday shows (4pm-10pm)

We are looking for leaders, problem solvers, talented, service-minded individuals with shining personalities who are as committed as we are to providing an extraordinary guest experience. Familiarity with Toast is a plus. Graphic Design is a plus. Open availability required. Must be available weekend nights, Valentine’s Day and New Year's Eve.
Manager Requirements:
Availability Tuesday-Sunday
• Effectively manages The American Comedy Co, including but not limited to administration of policies, guidelines, and ensuring 100% customer satisfaction at all times.
• Maintains fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensuring products are consistent with company quality standards
• Ensures that the Occupational Safety and Health Act, local health and safety codes, as well as the company safety and security policies are being adhered to
• Controls profit and loss, by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor
• Makes sure the restaurant is in compliance with the preventative maintenance program with regards to facility, equipment, and grounds maintenance.
• Ensures food quality and 100% customer satisfaction
• Ensures a safe working and customer experience environment by facilitating safe work behaviors of the team
• Inventory and ordering for the venue
Qualifications
• 2 years of supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in providing exceptional customer service is required
• Guard Card or willing to obtain
• Toast Training
• Manager ServeSafe or willing to obtain
• Alcohol Server License or willing to obtain
Skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic mathematical skills are required
• The ability to be flexible and adapt to any situation
• Proven track record of leadership or managerial skills
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills are necessary
• Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and other appropriate software
• Must be able to operate a cash register
• Familiarity with Toast POS
• Graphic Design is a plus
