We are seeking a Certified Phlebotomist to join our clinic team for a front/ back position on a part-time day shift schedule With full time possibilities in October. This role focuses on safe and accurate blood and bodily fluid collection while providing excellent patient care and support. The ideal candidate will have strong patient communication skills and be committed to maintaining laboratory safety and data accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Collect blood and other bodily fluid specimens safely and accurately
- Prepare patients for specimen collection, ensuring comfort and understanding
- Perform patient identification and verify specimen labeling
- Enter and manage specimen and patient data efficiently
- Assist medical staff as needed during procedures
- Support receptionist duties including handling phone calls
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in phlebotomy
- Proficiency in venipuncture techniques
- Effective patient communication skills
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols
- Strong data entry skills
- Attention to detail and time management
- Clear and professional communication
