Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Retail Pharmacist role is available on a per diem basis in Lathrop, CA. This position requires a licensed pharmacist to accurately fill prescriptions while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards. The schedule for the initial days will be from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on October 2nd and 5th, including a lunch break from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM.

Schedule/Hours:
- October 2 and October 5: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Lunch Break: 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Fill prescriptions promptly and accurately according to physician orders.
- Review Drug Utilization Reviews (DURs) generated by the system.
- Utilize NRx - QS/1 software for prescription processing and automated DURs.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacy clerks who will assist with system navigation.
- Ensure all regulatory and safety standards are met throughout the dispensation process.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Pharmacist License.
- Minimum of one year recent professional experience as a pharmacist.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems, preferably NRx - QS/1.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to review and address DUR alerts critically.
