Overview
\n
We are seeking a Learning Specialist to support the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of employee and leadership development programs across a large healthcare organization. This role is responsible for creating engaging classroom and e-learning experiences, facilitating training sessions, coordinating enterprise-wide learning events, and partnering with business leaders to identify and address organizational learning needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in instructional design, adult learning principles, leadership development, onboarding programs, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and training facilitation. This individual will work closely with HR, leadership teams, vendors, and cross-functional partners to drive employee development and organizational effectiveness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led and virtual learning programs.
- Create instructional materials, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, videos, and e-learning content.
- Conduct training needs assessments and consult with leaders to identify development opportunities.
- Develop curricula and learning paths for employee and leadership development programs.
- Facilitate onboarding programs for new employees and leaders.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and performance metrics.
- Manage and administer training content within the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Coordinate enterprise-wide learning events, leadership forums, academies, town halls, and networking programs.
- Partner with HR, Marketing Communications, and business stakeholders on leadership development and engagement initiatives.
- Support the annual employee engagement survey process, including planning, communications, reporting, and follow-up activities.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate training logistics including venues, materials, catering, attendance tracking, and event communications.
- Develop executive presentations, onboarding materials, and leadership talking points.
- Produce reports, metrics, dashboards, and executive summaries on learning and engagement initiatives.

Required Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Learning & Development, Training, Organizational Development, Talent Development, or Instructional Design.
- Experience designing and delivering classroom and virtual training programs.
- Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies.
- Experience facilitating workshops and leading group learning sessions.
- Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to conduct needs assessments and recommend learning solutions.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Windows-based systems.
