A highly regarded plaintiff-side personal injury law firm in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its growing litigation team. The firm handles sophisticated personal injury matters, including catastrophic injury, wrongful death, motor vehicle accidents, pedestrian accidents, traumatic brain injuries, spinal injuries, and other serious injury cases.

The Litigation Paralegal will work closely with the firm’s trial attorneys and support staff on cases from the filing of the complaint through discovery and trial preparation. This position will also supervise an assigned legal assistant.
Paralegal Responsibilities:
- Draft, file, and coordinate service of complaints and other litigation documents.
- Prepare discovery requests and objections and assist attorneys with reviewing and finalizing discovery responses.
- Draft and serve deposition notices.
- Prepare and serve subpoenas for non-party witnesses, treating providers, and other relevant parties.
- Monitor answers, responsive pleadings, defaults, and other case developments.
- Prepare and file pleadings and other legal documents in accordance with applicable court and jurisdictional requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive case calendars and closely monitor statutes of limitation, hearing dates, discovery deadlines, and other procedural deadlines.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this Litigation Paralegal position is $90K–$120K, depending on experience.
