We are seeking a reliable Truck Driver to handle long-haul, drop-and-hook routes as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will operate the vehicle safely, perform basic vehicle inspections, and ensure timely delivery of cargo while complying with all safety and transportation regulations. This role is an individual contributor position focused on independent driving and adherence to company standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate truck safely on long-haul, drop-and-hook routes
- Perform basic vehicle inspections
- Comply with all safety and transportation regulations
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules
- Maintain communication as needed for coordination
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years with CDL
- Willing to work a minimum of 3 weeks straight per month
- Knowledge of vehicle inspection procedures
- Defensive driving skills
- Strong time management
- Effective communication abilities
What We Offer
