Delivery Driver
Pay: $17.75/hr during 3-month trial period, then $19.00/hr + daily performance bonus ($20/day)
Up to $21.50/hr equivalent for reliable, punctual drivers
About Us
We bake and deliver premium breads, bagels, and pastries to high-end clients across the greater Los Angeles area. Our 20,000 sq ft facility in Montebello operates 7 days a week, and we've built a strong reputation on quality and consistency. We're growing fast and need experienced drivers who take pride in their work.
Schedule
This is an overnight position. Shifts start between 10:30 PM and midnight depending on assigned route, and end upon route completion. Availability to work 7 days a week as needed is required.
Compensation
- $17.75/hr during the first 3 months
- $19.00/hr after trial period
- Daily performance bonus of up to $20/day based on punctuality and attendance
- Up to $21.50/hr equivalent for drivers who show up on time, every day
Responsibilities
- Verify and load customer orders accurately before departure
- Deliver orders on assigned routes, on time and professionally
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and supervisors throughout the shift
- Conduct pre-departure vehicle inspections and report any issues
- Handle payment collection accurately when required
- Assist with bakery tasks between routes as needed
Requirements
- Clean driving record (valid DMV record required)
- Prior delivery experience required
- Ability to operate a cargo van or 16-foot box truck
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Physically able to load, lift, and carry items on a delivery route
- Must be available for overnight shifts starting between 10:30 PM and midnight
