The ideal candidate has run jobs inside active, occupied healthcare environments — managing infection control, interim life safety measures (ILSM), and the rigorous inspection and documentation standards required for OSHPD/HCAI-regulated work — and has the field discipline to keep patients, staff, and inspectors satisfied while hitting demanding schedules.

- Lead all field operations for healthcare construction projects, from mobilization through OSHPD/HCAI closeout and certification.
- Manage Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM), infection control risk assessments (ICRA), and interim life safety plans in active/occupied healthcare facilities.
- Coordinate closely with hospital facilities staff, infection control officers, and OSHPD/HCAI inspectors on daily field activity.
- Manage subcontractors, schedules, quality control, and jobsite safety across multiple concurrent work areas.
- Maintain rigorous documentation standards required for OSHPD/HCAI inspection and closeout (IOR coordination, testing/inspection logs, as-builts).
- Lead daily coordination meetings and maintain a proactive look-ahead schedule to manage phased, occupied-facility construction sequencing.
- Partner with the Project Executive/PM on budget tracking, change orders, and owner communication.
- Maintain strong relationships with hospital facilities/capital projects teams, OSHPD/HCAI reviewers, and healthcare-experienced subcontractors.
- Mentor assistant superintendents and field engineers on healthcare-specific field requirements.
- Uphold strict safety, infection control, and life-safety standards in a sensitive, occupied clinical environment.
