Radiology Tech – Multimodality Technologist in Sonora, California. This travel assignment begins on 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. The position carries a guaranteed 36 hours per week with a shift pattern of four 10-hour days. Weekly pay ranges from $2,800 to $2,885. Employment type is Travel – Temporary Assignment.

Responsibilities
- Operate imaging equipment across multiple modalities including x-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and/or mammography; perform at least three modalities competently.
- Safely position and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs; ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Prepare contrast agents for imaging procedures and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Perform mobile imaging as needed; conduct routine quality checks and assist with equipment readiness (e.g., defibrillator and crash cart checks).
- Collaborate with the radiology team to meet departmental objectives; maintain proficiency in the applicable EMR system (EPIC experience preferred).

Requirements
- Active Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice.
- ARRT certification required; current ARRT-R (Radiography) credential required.
- Must hold a current certification in at least one imaging modality and be able to perform duties in at least one additional advanced modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, or PET); acceptable credentials include ARRT-CT, ARRT-M, ARRT-MRI, ARMRIT, ARRT-NMT, SNMT, ARRT-S, RDMS, RDCS, CCI-RCS, or RTPET.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor per policy required.
- Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years of technical imaging experience preferred.
- EPIC experience preferred; ability to work in a hospital imaging environment.
