Open Positions:
Server – Friendly and attentive individuals to provide excellent customer service, take orders, and ensure a great dining experience. Experience in a restaurant setting preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Serve food and beverages to guests
- Explain to guests about menu items
- Clean and prepare the dining areas
- Greet and make all guests feel welcome at the restaurant
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely fashion
- Perform other restaurant duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with guests
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Sushi Chef
- 2+ years of experience working as a Sushi Chef or in a professional sushi kitchen
- Strong knowledge of sushi preparation, including nigiri, sashimi, maki, and specialty rolls
- Skilled in proper fish handling, cutting, portioning, and presentation
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper storage procedures
- Ability to maintain consistent food quality, portion sizes, and presentation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to follow recipes, kitchen standards, and food-preparation procedures
- ServSafe or other food-safety certification is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Prep Cook / Dishwasher
-Cooking experience in Japanese restaurant preferred with high attention to detail
-Consistency in presentation and quality a must
-Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
-Ability to work closely within a kitchen in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
-Clean up station and take care of leftover food
-Able to be flexible and resourceful during slower times, and have the ability to rock and roll during the rushes
-Ensure that food comes out simultaneously and consistent, in high quality and in a timely fashion
-Must have current food handlers permit
-Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
-Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
