Agiliti is looking for a Biomedical Services Supervisor to lead our onsite clinical engineering team supporting Palomar Health in San Diego, California. This is a great opportunity for an experienced biomedical professional who enjoys developing technicians, solving technical challenges, and building strong partnerships with hospital customers.

What You’ll Do

- \n
- Lead and support a team of biomedical equipment technicians
- Organize workloads and help ensure efficient day-to-day operations
- Provide technical training and development to team members
- Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and calibrate medical equipment
- Support preventive maintenance and quality assurance activities
- Assist with evaluating new medical equipment and its conformance to applicable standards
- Maintain equipment inventory, service records and documentation
- Support hazard identification and medical device reporting procedures
- Partner with hospital personnel and provide guidance on safe equipment operation
- Manage operational budgets and resources
- Participate in an on-call rotation when needed

What We’re Looking For
\n
- \n
- Associate degree in Electronics, Biomedical Equipment Technology or an equivalent technical program
- At least 3 years of biomedical equipment experience
- Experience with electronic and mechanical troubleshooting
- Knowledge of diagnostic, therapeutic and patient-monitoring equipment
- Ability to read circuit diagrams and mechanical schematics
- Familiarity with applicable healthcare equipment regulations, standards and quality practices
- Experience using biomedical test equipment, including electrical safety analyzers, digital multimeters and patient simulators
- CBET certification preferred
- Flexibility to support business needs
