Key Responsibilities
Grant Writing & Development
- Research and identify grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources
- Write, edit, and submit compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports
- Collaborate with Director to gather data, budgets, and program details
- Maintain a grants calendar to track deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements
- Ensure compliance with grant guidelines and funding requirements
- Monitor and report on grant outcomes
Administrative Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to Museum Director
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and meeting materials
- Maintain organized records, files, and databases (including grant documentation)
- Assist with event planning, including donor and community events
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external groups
Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of grant writing, administrative, or related experience
- Proven success in securing grants (preferred)
- Strong writing, editing, and research skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
