About the Role:

The Project Administrator in the manufacturing industry plays a critical role in supporting project teams to ensure the successful planning, execution, and completion of manufacturing projects. This position is responsible for coordinating project activities, managing documentation, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to maintain project timelines and budgets. The Project Administrator acts as a central point of contact, ensuring that all project information is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant team members. By providing administrative support and tracking project progress, this role helps to mitigate risks and resolve issues promptly. Ultimately, the Project Administrator contributes to the efficient delivery of manufacturing projects that meet quality standards and business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in project administration or coordination, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and terminology.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., CAPM or PMP) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes to ensure clear communication among project stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, schedules, budgets, and progress reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines, providing regular status updates to project managers and team members.
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of project budgets, including processing invoices and expense reports.
  • Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams, suppliers, and clients to support project objectives and resolve administrative issues.
