Rose Garden Thai Restaurant is looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Server to join our team!
As a Server, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our customers. Your responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customers receive excellent service throughout their visit.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, works well with others, pays attention to detail, and maintains a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to kitchen staff.
- Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and food preparation.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately.
- Check on customers throughout their meals to ensure satisfaction.
- Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area and workstations.
- Assist with opening, closing, restocking, and other daily restaurant duties.
- Work together with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Follow restaurant policies, food safety guidelines, and customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or serving experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to consistently work scheduled shifts.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and work as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry food and beverage trays.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have or be willing to obtain a valid California Food Handler Card.
