Lumicity is partnered with a growing, well-funded startup that is creating novel silicon photonic technology to address bottlenecks in AI processing.

This is a high impact position within the company, where you be responsible for building the software and automation infrastructure that powers characterization, validation and reliability testing of their optical switching platform.

\n
Role: Photonics Test Automation Engineer
\n
Location: Santa Clara, CA - onsite
\n
Compensation: Competitive Base + Equity

The skills needed for the role include:
\n
- \n
- 5+ years of experience developing software for automated test equipment, optical tests, semiconductor test or laboratory instrumentation.
- Strong software development skills in Python and/or C++.
- Demonstratable experience controlling physical instrumentation and hardware through software.
- Knowledge/experience of test automation development frameworks, such as Pytest or TestStandard.
- Any experience with Silicon Photonics, Optical Transceivers or MEMS would be highly advantageous in this position.
