We are seeking a Special Education Teacher for a full-time Resource position at a Spanish Immersion elementary school in Redwood City, CA for the remainder of the 2026–2027 school year. This position is ideal for an educator who enjoys supporting diverse learners in a bilingual school community.

Responsibilities
- Provide specialized academic instruction to K–5 students with mild to moderate support needs through a Resource Learning Center model.
- Manage an assigned caseload, including IEP development, implementation, progress monitoring, and documentation.
- Deliver individualized and small-group instruction through pull-out and push-in services as assigned.
- Collaborate with immersion classroom teachers to support students' access to curriculum delivered in Spanish and English.
- Adapt instruction, accommodations, and supports based on individual student and language needs.
- Communicate and collaborate with families, related-service providers, and school teams.
- Maintain accurate Special Education records and ensure consistent service delivery.
Requirements
- Active California Education Specialist credential authorizing Mild/Moderate or Mild to Moderate Support Needs (MMSN). Required.
- Previous school-based Special Education experience, preferably in a Resource or elementary setting.
- Spanish language proficiency preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work full-time, 37.5 hours per week, through the end of the 2026–27 school year.
Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
