Location: Near Northridge, CA
Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay: $31-$32/hour
We are seeking a Learning & Development Specialist for our client to support employee training and professional development initiatives for a well-established organization in the Northridge area. This hybrid opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys creating learning content, facilitating training, coordinating programs, and managing learning systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and enhancement of employee training programs
- Identify learning needs and assist with assessing skill-development opportunities
- Create presentations, job aids, facilitator materials, and other training resources
- Collaborate with internal partners and subject matter experts to develop effective learning content
- Facilitate and support virtual, onsite, and blended training sessions
- Coordinate training calendars, communications, materials, and participant logistics
- Administer LMS activities, including course content, user access, reporting, and troubleshooting
- Track program feedback and training results to help identify improvement opportunities
- Support employee development initiatives and special projects
- Coordinate internal trainers and subject matter experts
- Occasional local travel may be required
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Learning & Development, corporate training, talent development, organizational development, or a related area
- Experience supporting instructor-led and technology-enabled learning programs
- Hands-on LMS administration experience
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- Understanding of adult learning and instructional design concepts
- Experience with virtual training, webinars, e-learning, or blended learning
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills
- Excellent organization, communication, and project coordination abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
Pay Details: $31.00 to $32.00 per hour
