Encinitas, CA | $19–$22 per hour
Part-Time & Full-Time Opportunities
FirstLight Home Care is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to support clients in Encinitas and nearby North County communities.
Have caregiving experience? We’d love to meet you. New to caregiving? Paid training is available for dependable candidates ready to learn.
Shifts That Fit Your Availability
- 4- to 12-hour shifts
- Days, evenings, and overnights
- Weekdays and weekends

What You’ll Do
Follow each client’s care plan and assist with:
- Companionship and dementia support
- Bathing, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Transfers and mobility
- Transportation and errands, depending on the assignment
What You’ll Need
- A dependable, compassionate approach
- Comfort assisting with personal care
- Reliable transportation to assigned client homes
- Home Care Aide registration or willingness to complete registration before client assignments
- Required background clearance, health screening, and onboarding
- Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Assignments requiring you to drive clients or complete driving errands require a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
Professional or personal caregiving experience is preferred. Paid training is available.
