Are you a hands‐on accounting leader who thrives in dynamic, evolving environments? We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to play a pivotal role as we transition from our legacy Microsoft Dynamics system to SAP S/4HANA

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

The Accounting Manager will play a key role in maintaining seamless day‐to‐day accounting operations during the organization’s SAP S/4HANA implementation. While the company continues to operate within its legacy Microsoft Dynamics environment, this position ensures accuracy, continuity, and compliance across a dual‐system landscape. The Accounting Manager must be a hands‐on, detail‐oriented accounting professional who can effectively manage transactional accounting activities while supporting system‐related changes and process improvements. This role provides critical operational coverage throughout the system transition and is expected to evolve into a full‐time leadership position upon successful completion of the SAP S/4HANA implementation.

This individual must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in ways that foster good relationships with those inside and outside the company, while achieving and enhancing performance standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Operate in a dual ERP environment (SAP S/4 and Microsoft Dynamics)
Manage and support the Monthly Close Process
Manage and support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Maintain fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and reconciliations
Perform general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and journal entries
Support and manage month-end close, including balance sheet and P&L analysis
Assist with system testing, data validation, and process alignment during SAP implementation
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
Prepare process flowcharts and accounting procedures of SAP S/4 and legacy systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; active CPA credential required.
MBA with CPA preferred, but not required.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting and managerial experience.
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas.
Demonstrated experience managing the month‐end close process in a manufacturing environment.
Hands‐on experience with Microsoft Dynamics and/or SAP (SAP S/4HANA experience highly desirable).
Prior experience working in ERP system transitions or supporting dual‐system environments.
Manufacturing or regulated manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
Must report to any company facility according to company need, sometimes with same-day notice.
