A retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a contract assignment from October 26 to October 30. This role involves working in a high-volume store environment with a fast-paced workflow.
Location:
- Fort Jones, CA (Yreka Pharmacy)
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily retail pharmacy operations
- Accurately process and dispense 400–500 prescriptions daily
- Provide excellent patient service and counseling
- Utilize PioneerRx software to manage prescriptions and inventory
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid California Pharmacist license
- Recent experience as a retail pharmacist, preferably in a busy pharmacy setting
- Familiarity with high-volume prescription processing
- Comfortable working with PioneerRx software or ability to quickly adapt to new pharmacy management systems
