Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Valid state license or eligibility to obtain one in California.
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric environments preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs.
- Assess, diagnose, and create tailored treatment plans to support communication challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, special education staff, and families to monitor progress and ensure integrated support.
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation of services provided and student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations rooted in best practices.
- Engage in professional development activities to stay current with evidence-based approaches.
