Location: Onsite – Sky Zone Brea ABOUT SKY ZONE BREA:Sky Zone Brea is a brand-new trampoline park opening this November, and we’re building our founding leadership team now. Sky Zone Brea is owned and operated by Air Strides Inc., a locally based franchise operator committed to growing with Sky Zone in Orange County. Joining before opening day means you won’t inherit someone else’s park – you’ll help build this one. You’ll hire and train our first crew, put our operating systems in place, and lead the floor on grand opening day. JOB SUMMARY:The Operations Manager leads daily park execution – keeping the team aligned, the energy high, and every guest experience running smoothly. As the second-in-command to the General Manager, you manage the floor, direct Team Leads and frontline staff, and own the results of every shift, from staffing and labor to safety and guest satisfaction. You set the tone for each shift, solve problems in real time, and model what great leadership looks like. Whether you’re directing guest flow on a sold-out Saturday, coaching a new Team Lead, or handling an urgent issue, you bring focus, urgency, and care to every part of the park. • Partner with the General Manager to recruit, interview, hire, and onboard the park’s opening team of Team Leads and hourly team members.
• Build and deliver pre-opening training, including safety, court monitoring, guest service, POS, and party hosting.
• Help set up opening/closing checklists, shift structures, and operating routines to Sky Zone brand standards.
• Lead mock operations, soft-opening events, and grand opening floor execution.

Operational Execution

• Manage daily shift operations as manager on duty, including opening/closing procedures, guest flow, cleanliness, and readiness of all park areas.
• Build and manage weekly schedules to meet guest demand while hitting labor targets.
• Oversee inventory, cash handling, and café/retail controls in partnership with the GM.
• Ensure birthday parties, group events, and special programming such as Glow nights are executed flawlessly.
• Serve as the senior leader in the park in the General Manager’s absence.

Team Leadership

• Directly supervise Team Leads and frontline staff each shift, assigning work and holding the team accountable for performance and energy.
• Provide real-time coaching, feedback, and documented performance reviews; recommend promotions, corrective action, and terminations.
• Develop Team Leads into future managers as the organization grows.

Guest Experience

• Ensure every guest interaction is welcoming, safe, and aligned with brand expectations.
• Resolve escalated guest concerns and model strong service recovery.
• Monitor online reviews and guest feedback and turn insights into action with the team.

Safety & Brand Standards

• Enforce safety policies and procedures; lead staff safety training and compliance.
• Conduct routine safety and facility inspections, document incidents, and escalate maintenance needs.
• Maintain cleanliness, facility presentation, and zone readiness throughout the park.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 2–3 years of formal management or supervisory experience, including direct responsibility for leading teams, ideally in a high-volume, guest-facing industry such as hospitality, entertainment, retail, fitness, or restaurants.
• Experience managing daily operations, leading teams on the floor, and adapting to shifting priorities in real time.
• Comfort with scheduling, labor targets, and operational goals; you understand how day-to-day execution impacts the bigger picture.
• Pre-opening or new-location launch experience is a strong plus.
• Comfortable using technology and operational systems, with basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, POS platforms, scheduling tools, and reporting dashboards.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays – when the park (and the magic) is most alive – plus flexible hours during the pre-opening period.

SKILLS:

• Strong communication skills; you give feedback clearly, support your team with respect, and coach in the moment.
• Hands-on leadership style; you lead from the floor and set the tone on a busy day.
• Organized and able to multitask; you stay on top of shifting priorities and keep the park running smoothly, even at peak volume.

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in business, hospitality, or a related field preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• This position requires the ability to move around and position self appropriately around all areas of the park for extended periods of time.
• This position requires the ability to interact actively with guests and staff for extended periods of time in a high-energy, often loud, environment.
• This position requires the ability to lift and carry a minimum of 20 pounds as needed (inventory, supplies, etc.).
