Senior Interior Designer
- Work directly with Principal to implement interior design solutions for each project from conception through installation
- Draft full set of architectural drawings for building permit submittal
- Source furnishings, finishes, lighting, plumbing, art & accessories
- Prepare project presentations and meet with clients to convey vision
- Prepare furniture proposals and track purchases and delivery
- Work with fabricators, vendors and subcontractors to ensure project deliverables, timelines and quality execution
- Communicate and collaborate with clients in a professional and organized manner.
- Maintains detailed and extensive project documentation including records of all key decisions, phone conversations, approvals and sign-offs, and notes from project meetings.
Required Qualifications:
- Professional degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- 8+ years of work experience in high-end residential interior design
- Skilled in AutoCAD
- Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills
- Well-rounded exposure to all phases of interior architecture + design, from conceptual through construction administration, procurement, and installation
- Ability to work on several projects at once and keep projects within budget and on schedule
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, Rhino 3D software, Enscape rendering
- Experience with ordering cabinetry
- Local candidates only (Daily commute should be less than one hour to Palo Alto)
