Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active California SLP license or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to tailor therapy goals and strategies for diverse student needs
  • Team-oriented mindset with a passion for student advocacy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with teachers and IEP teams
  • Deliver direct and indirect services to a diverse caseload
  • Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust strategies for optimal student growth
  • Conduct screenings, write evaluation reports, and attend IEP meetings as required
  • Offer support and resources to teachers and families to maximize student success in and out of the classroom
