Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant middle school environment. This is a full-time assignment (37.5 hours per week) with a start date as soon as possible, continuing through June 10, 2027. The position is primarily onsite, located near Mojave, CA, with short-term virtual work (30-60 days) considered if needed.

As a dedicated speech professional, you will play a key role in helping students build essential communication skills, collaborating with educators, families, and the wider school community. You’ll leverage your expertise to make a lasting impact in a supportive and engaging educational setting.

What we’re looking for:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid and active California SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Comfort working full-time, onsite; short-term virtual work considered if necessary
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for students
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families on student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
