Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and experiencedEquipment Technician to join our team.
As a Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing vending, beverage, food, coffee, and related equipment at different customer locations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, using basic tools, and working independently in the field.
We are looking for someone with a strong problem-solving mindset, a professional attitude, and the ability to stay focused until the issue is properly resolved.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain vending, beverage, food, coffee, and related equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, payment system, and card reader issues
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, adjustments, and inspections on equipment
- Replace parts such as bill validators, coin mechanisms, motors, sensors, control boards, compressors, and card readers when needed
- Test equipment after repairs to ensure everything is working properly
- Keep accurate records of repairs, service work, parts used, and equipment issues
- Communicate clearly with management regarding equipment status, needed parts, and completed repairs
- Provide professional service at customer locations and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Follow company procedures, safety standards, and service schedules
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a vending equipment technician, appliance technician, refrigeration technician, or equipment repair technician is preferred
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to use basic tools, diagnostic equipment, and service-related technology
- Knowledge of vending equipment, payment systems, refrigeration, and coffee equipment is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record preferred
- Must be dependable, professional, and willing to learn new equipment systems
