Cardiac Sonographer / Echocardiography TechnologistDescription\n
Performs cardiovascular and non-invasive diagnostic studies and treatments, including comprehensive echocardiographic examinations. Performs M-Mode studies with required calculations, 2-D imaging with all necessary views and measurements, and Doppler echocardiography with appropriate analysis and documentation.
\n
Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret diagnostic information based on the patient's age-specific needs, including pediatric and geriatric studies. Anticipates physician requirements and identifies potential patient concerns during examinations.

Education & Experience\n

- Two years of experience as a Cardiac Ultrasound Sonographer or completion of a one-year certified Cardiac Ultrasound program: Preferred
- Two years of experience as a Vascular Sonographer or completion of a certified Vascular Sonography program: Preferred
- Two years of experience as a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer or completion of a certified Pediatric Sonography program: Preferred
- One year of experience as a Fetal Echocardiography Sonographer or completion of a certified Fetal Echocardiography program: Preferred

- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT): Required
- Pediatric Echocardiography (PE): Required

- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) or RDCS: Required
- RVT or CCI Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI-RVS): Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS): Required
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification: Required
