Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from transitional kindergarten through 8th grade, working with a dynamic caseload of 44 young learners. This role covers locations at both an elementary and middle school and offers the unique chance to make a meaningful impact during the school year. This position begins November 2 and wraps up on February 29, with a consistent schedule of 36.25 hours per week (7.25 hours per day), providing excellent structure for work-life balance.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver services as a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC credentials in both individual and group settings
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders among a diverse population of K-8 students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy and intervention plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and parents to monitor progress and ensure student success
  • Maintain detailed records and complete documentation in line with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and help design effective, student-centered goals
  • Provide education and resources to families, fostering carryover of skills into daily routines

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist license and CCC certification
  • Experience or interest in serving elementary and middle school-aged students
  • Previous work in school-based settings is highly preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt services to meet the varying needs of K-8 students
