Role Description The Operations Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based at EnquBio’s San Diego, CA facility. This role supports daily operational activities, including coordinating schedules, managing documentation, and assisting with laboratory and office logistics. The Operations Assistant helps maintain inventory, prepares orders, and tracks supplies to ensure continuous support for research teams and client projects. The role includes handling basic data entry, supporting internal and external communications, and assisting with process improvements across operations and operations management. The Operations Assistant collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly, provide responsive customer service to internal stakeholders, and contribute to a smooth and efficient workplace.

Qualifications

  • Strong operations and operations management skills, with the ability to support day-to-day workflows and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • \n

  • Solid analytical skills for tracking data, monitoring inventory, and supporting process improvements.
  • \n

  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
  • \n

  • Customer service orientation, with the ability to respond promptly and professionally to requests and issues.
  • \n

  • Relevant experience in an operations, administrative, or coordination role, ideally in a scientific, healthcare, or CRO environment.
  • \n

  • Proficiency with common office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, email) and basic data entry tools.
  • \n

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in following standard operating procedures.
  • \n

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, operations, life sciences, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
