Job Description

Job Description

Trevor Wallace is looking for a Los Angeles-based videographer/editor to join his team full-time and help capture, shape, and grow his stand-up content across live shows and social platforms.

This is a travel-heavy role for someone who is equally comfortable behind a camera, in an edit timeline, and working in the fast-moving environment of touring comedy. You’ll travel with Trevor to shows, shoot high-quality stand-up footage, manage and organize media, and turn both new and existing material into compelling clips for social.

What you’ll do:

  • Travel with Trevor to stand-up shows and capture reliable, high-quality performance footage. All work-related travel expenses will be covered.
  • Shoot full sets using a polished multi-camera approach, including coverage of Trevor and the crowd when appropriate, while ensuring clean, usable audio in coordination with venues and sound teams
  • Edit long-form stand-up footage and create short-form clips optimized for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms
  • Review existing stand-up footage and identify the strongest moments for new content
  • Organize, back up, and maintain a clean archive of footage and project files
  • Meet regularly with Trevor to review footage, identify the strongest moments, and collaborate on creative direction, clip selection, and turnaround times.
  • Bring a sharp eye for comedy, pacing, audience reaction, and what makes a clip work online

What we’re looking for:

  • Based in Los Angeles and able to travel frequently, including weekends
  • Proven experience shooting and editing live performance, stand-up, comedy, or similarly fast-paced unscripted content
  • Strong camera, lighting, audio, and post-production skills
  • Experience creating polished short-form social content
  • Comfortable working independently in unfamiliar venues and adapting quickly to changing show conditions
  • Extremely organized, dependable, and able to manage a high volume of footage
  • A genuine understanding of comedy and strong instincts for joke structure, timing, and clip selection
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro
  • Professional camera and audio gear is a plus

Please send a resume, portfolio/reel, examples of live-performance or comedy work, and 3-5 examples of short-form clips you edited. In your application, please include your availability for travel. Experience working on the road is a plus, but not required.

Compensation will be competitive and based on experience.
