Experience with IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) refers to conditions that affect cognitive functioning and adaptive behavior (e.g., autism, Down syndrome).
Co-morbidities are additional medical or mental health conditions that occur alongside IDD, such as:
- Seizure disorders
- Anxiety or depression
- ADHD
- Diabetes or hypertension
- Mobility or speech impairments

Primary Responsibilities
- Monitor patients vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse)
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed
- Assist patients with daily activities (bathing, dressing, eating)
- Perform basic wound care and dressing changes
- Collect samples for lab testing (blood, urine, etc.)
- Maintain accurate patient records and report changes
- Help patients and families understand care plans
