Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time role will have you working onsite across two locations, making a direct impact on student communication and academic success. Your expertise will be critical in providing personalized services that address a variety of speech and language needs—helping students thrive in both educational and social settings. The assignment runs from ASAP through June 10, 2027.

Key qualifications:

  • Active California SLP license required (SLPA credentials are not accepted)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
  • Previous experience in school-based settings strongly desired
  • Demonstrated skill in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in children
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
  • Flexibility to work across multiple school sites

Role responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment and direct therapy services to elementary and middle school students
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation for student records and IEP meetings
  • Deliver services in accordance with current best practices and district compliance standards
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
  • Consult with faculty and suggest strategies to foster a positive learning environment
