Job Description
Join our team as a Manufacturing Technician and work on the 1st shift from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. You will operate equipment to accurately utilize raw ingredients and create flavor products, ensuring all safety, quality, and operational procedures are followed.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment to accurately use raw materials for flavor product creation.
- Ensure understanding and adherence to all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Utilize tools and electronic/computer systems for compounding and container filling.
- Use computer, scan gun, or other tools to match ingredients to shop orders.
- Follow production, safety, quality, and operational procedures to verify and record information.
- Ensure proper ventilation and use of safety equipment.
- Develop understanding of Quality Control requirements for sampling, product testing, and swabbing of equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience in a pharmaceutical, food, or nutraceutical environment.
- Knowledge of machine operating and production processes.
- Strong emphasis on safety.
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math skills, including ratios and weighing of product.
- Knowledge of FDA and GMP regulations.
- Ability to follow procedures and directions to identify products and follow formulas.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to lift 50-75+ lbs regularly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in production, compounding, sanitizing, manufacturing processes, blending, mixing, material handling, and use of spray equipment.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Motivated and willing to learn.

Work Environment
This position is in a flavor and fragrances manufacturing company that specializes in sweet flavors such as strawberry, root beer, and peanut butter. With only 15 people currently employed, you will need to be able to work independently and take initiative.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
