About the Role
As a Litigation Associate, you’ll manage cases from inception through resolution, collaborating closely with senior attorneys on strategy, discovery, motion practice, and client communications. You’ll gain hands-on experience with depositions, hearings, and client interaction, working on a diverse range of commercial and business litigation matters in both state and federal courts.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, and other case documents.

Manage all aspects of litigation, including discovery, hearings, and client communications.

Attend court hearings and depositions.

Provide effective case management from commencement to resolution.

Collaborate with supervising attorneys and clients to develop case strategies.

Negotiate settlements and assist with trial preparation.
Qualifications & Skills

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.

Licensed and in good standing in California.

4+ years of recent business litigation experience.

Strong understanding of federal and state court rules and procedures.

Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills.

Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently and meet tight deadlines.

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $180,000 – $230,000 annually (commensurate with experience).

Bonus Potential: Up to $106,000 based on performance.
