Job Description
Energy Commercial Operations Consultant

\n
We're conducting a search on behalf of a fast-growing, well-funded climate tech company building the modeling platform that renewable energy developers, utilities, and independent power producers rely on to make critical infrastructure decisions.
\n
\n
Due to accelerating account growth heading into Q4 and next year, our client is adding a Consultant to their Customer Advisory team. This is a high-ownership, customer-facing role sitting at the intersection of customer success, technical project management, and market/policy advisory for battery storage customers.
\n
\n
What You'll Do
\n
- \n
- Own strategic customer relationships end-to-end — from onboarding through ongoing account management, asset/revenue performance reviews, executive business reviews, and renewal planning
- Lead technical integrations as new battery assets onboard onto the platform, coordinating across customers, third-party partners, and internal engineering teams
- Translate market policy, ISO rules, and regulatory context into clear operating strategy guidance for customers, especially in newer or less familiar markets
- Ramp to independently owning a portfolio of 6–8 customer accounts
\n

\n
\n
What We're Looking For
\n
- \n
- 3+ years of experience, ideally in consulting or another customer-facing capacity
- A high-motor, ownership mindset — someone who rolls up their sleeves without waiting for direction
- Comfort operating in technically complex, ambiguous environments
- Strong cross-functional collaborator across engineering, product, policy, and marketing
- Ability to learn unfamiliar, technical subject matter quickly and communicate it clearly and confidently
- Power markets experience is a plus, but not required — we're equally interested in sharp generalists from consulting or biz ops backgrounds who show the traits above
